Hospital Visit / Study Tour

A visit to Mahatma Gandhi Mission, Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad was arranged for the students of D. Pharmacy on 29th December 2018. Total 60 students along with 2 faculty members Mr. S. L. Munde, Mrs. B. G. Dhotre had visited the hospital. A group of 20 students was made and then a visit to the different departments of the hospital like ICU, In-Patient Pharmacy, canteen, pathology lab, operation theatres, emergency services etc. was arranged. A detailed explanation regarding each department followed by a detailed presentation about the role of hospital pharmacy in hospital, drug distribution systems, and inventory management and medication errorswas given during the visit.
